The 2.0L EcoBoost I-4 engine on Escape tops the 190‑horsepower CR-V engine with:

  • More horsepower — with 245 horsepower or 55 additional horsepower over CR-V. Rating achieved with 93-octane fuel
  • More towing capability — up to 3500 lbs. with the Class II Trailer Tow Package — that’s 2000 lbs. more than CR-V

The CRV is an SUV with:

  • Real-time all-wheel drive
  • 1500-lbs. towing capability

Driver Assist Techonology

  • The Rear View Camera on Escape can also help with parallel and reverse perpendicular parking
  • Enhanced Active Park Assist — a feature not available on CR‑V — steers Escape into a parking space
  • All the driver has to do is control the gear shifter, accelerator and brake pedals

The CR-V Multi-Angle Rearview Camera:

  • Allows the driver to choose from three different angles: normal, top-down and wide
  • Offers a rear view every time the transmission is shifted into Reverse

Connectivity

  • SYNC 3 offers the same capabilities as CR‑V PLUS has a larger 8″ display
  • FordPass Connect — a feature not offered on CR‑V — lets owners stay connected to their vehicle remotely. These features include:

  • Schedule Remote Start
  • Vehicle Locator
  • Vehicle Status

AND, Escape offers 4G LTE Wi‐Fi connectivity:

  • Allows users to connect laptops, tablets, smartphones and more
  • Users can connect up to 10 devices at one time
  • Maintain a connection up to 50 feet from the vehicle
  • Wi-Fi connectivity is not available on CR-V
